A gallery for classic Italian music, of which my knowledge is limited to things I grew up listening to.

Bad, uninformed, and only partially culturally conscious commentary.
Primo Tempo (2007)- Ligabue
This compilation album is underwhleming because it's a certain brand of rock catered to mums and middle aged women.

The album art feels a bit stuck in the past, but half the songs on this album are from the 90s so somehow it works. I think Ligabue is one of Italy's main recent(ish) rock pioneers so this album was well received.

The song I know best from this album is 'Balliamo sul Mondo' (Let's dance on the world) which is upbeat and a hype song with a Sweet Child o' Mine-like riff. The music on this album overall though sounds a little stale like a cookie cutter of what rock is supposed to be.

I'm biased but I'm also right so it's ok. Liga is not for me, 4/10.
